In my previous post about Virgin Atlantic I gave you all the information I could about flying with Virgin to Las Vegas.

virgin_atlanticI told you about the Flying Club loyalty programme and how it pays to stay with one carrier. Well, to reinforce that, I was just able to book my regular November flight to be in Vegas for the rodeo by using the miles I’ve accumulated over the last eighteen months. It cost me £463.22 for a return flight in Upper Class. No strings, no extras. That’s less than an Economy flight in the sale. With a fully flat bed, Clubhouse access at Gatwick and all the other benefits of Upper Class travel.

The flight itself was free for 100,000 miles, the payment is tax etc.

So, if you’re going to fly even once a year, try to stick with the same carrier. It would be rude not to!

Sadly I have to report that since I posed this Virgin have let me down again – Virgin Atlantic at it again! I still say you should stick with the same carrier but I suggest you use BA or even Norwegian but not Virgin!
